January Membership Meeting

The Oshkosh Photography Group will have its next meeting on Tuesday, 17 January, 2012, at Zion Lutheran Church (400 N. Sawyer, Oshkosh).

Since our host, Zion Lutheran Church, does not charge OPG a rental fee, the Board has suggested that we start 2012 by sponsoring a "stock the shelves" event for their food pantry.  Please bring non-perishable food items to our January meeting.

  • A table will be available for display of photography-related items for sale
  • Each item must be labeled with your name and asking price

Interested in expanding your photographic horizons?

The Oshkosh Photography Group (OPG) has entered into a one-year membership in the Photographic Society of America (PSA).   Our membership in PSA presents OPG members more opportunities for forums, meetings, conferences, contests, and discounts.  Member benefits can be found on the PSA web site.

In addition, the monthly PSA Journal will be available at meetings for OPG members to look at or borrow.  This journal includes informative articles as well as a calendar of events.
There is also a quarterly newsletter, The Projector, which is available online at the PSA web site after logging in to the section called “My PSA”.  (The username and password can be obtained from Monty Montgomery, the OPG representative to PSA.)
Joining PSA also includes a group membership for OPG in the Wisconsin chapter, which allows our members to attend chapter meetings and view the online newsletter, InFocus.  Visit www.psawisconsin.org for more information, or to join as an individual member of the Wisconsin chapter.
