January Membership Meeting
The Oshkosh Photography Group will have its next meeting on Tuesday, 17 January, 2012, at Zion Lutheran Church (400 N. Sawyer, Oshkosh).
FOOD COLLECTION
Since our host, Zion Lutheran Church, does not charge OPG a rental fee, the Board has suggested that we start 2012 by sponsoring a "stock the shelves" event for their food pantry. Please bring non-perishable food items to our January meeting.
PHOTO "PHLEA" MARKET
- A table will be available for display of photography-related items for sale
- Each item must be labeled with your name and asking price
- All transactions are on a person-to-person basis
- All unsold items must be removed at the end of the meeting
GROUP PHOTO SHOOT AT EAA
A group photo shoot is being planned for Saturday, 11 February at the EAA museum. Details will be provided at the meeting.
MEETING AGENDA
Socializing time: 6:00 - 6:30 pm
Program:
- Monty's "Tip of the Month"
- Lee Fenendael will give a demonstration on "Low Budget Framing & Matting." This might be helpful for anyone wanting to participate in the Masonic Temple Gallery Walk Exhibit in March.
- Jim Raymond will continue his presentation series with "Fifty Notable Photographs"
Monthly Photo Project:
The photo project for January's meeting is "food." EVERYONE is encouraged to participate in this activity. What creative idea will YOU bring to share?
General Photo Sharing:
Members may bring in up to 3 images to share with the group, if time permits. What have you been shooting lately? Taking advantage of the nice weather... holidays / family events... have you started shooting your 2012 PHOTO-A-DAY? Bring some samples to share.
